Beep Sales Representatives

 

Beep is currently looking for Sales Representatives to secure new contracts with communities, cities and universities who are transforming their transportation programs through the deployment of autonomous vehicles and the technology which enables them.  Our business seeks experienced, motivated Sales Representatives to build a pipeline of prospects and drive closure of new business across the southeast. We’re looking for professionals who can quickly absorb and retain technical product knowledge. The successful candidate will take on management of the RFP process for many state and local government entities and their transportation groups who are evaluating the use of autonomous shuttles to support their many public and private transportation needs.  A proven track record of working with local governments and communities and their procurement processes is important. 

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Identifies sales opportunities within local communities through RFI/RFP research, lead follow-up, networking, partner introductions and other means. 

  • Prospects, qualifies and generates a quality pipeline necessary to deliver on multi-million dollar sales targets. 

  • Ensures suspect identification, planning, account qualification and needs analysis at all prospect levels

  • Telephones prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline

  • Works closely with our Partners and Marketing programs to professionally follow through on all BD opportunities. 

  • Responds to requests from customers for information and presents the company value proposition and offerings very credibly. 

  • Manages customer contract negotiations

  • Engages in technical discussions with potential clients through presentations

  • Remains knowledgeable and up-to-date on the AV industry trends and ecosystem

  • Keeps management informed of all activity, including regular use of CRM (sf.com) systems.

 

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 4+ years of direct or inside sales experience

  • Technology and/or transportation experience a plus

  • Successful track record of working with sales volumes greater than $1,000,000
